This tour is a great introduction to Amman. Our guide will pick you up and start with a drive through New Amman ending up in the downtown area. It is exclusively offered as a private tour.

Amman is a city of contrasts, a confluence of modernity and ancient traditions. The municipality is host to a wide variety of communities - from the aristocratic and traditional Bedouin, Palestinians originating from the Ottoman and British Mandate periods, and Palestinian refugees from the war and Nakbah of 1948 which led to the creation of Israel. There are also refugees from the Six-Day War in 1967. More recently there has been an large influx of people from Iraq and Syria, fleeing the chaos there, and seeking better opportunities. Together, the communities create a vibrant dynamic and a burgeoning cosmopolitan environment - Middle East style.
